Indian Trail High School and Academy offers a wide variety of student activities that extend learning outside the classroom for all students in our high school community. Our student activities provide students a place to belong, grow, and become the best versions of themselves.

Student activities provide an educational opportunity in which students can learn essential life lessons beyond those that can be learned in an academic classroom. Our goals are to offer students an enjoyable experience and enhance the character of our students. Our student activities meet all throughout the school year, and we are proud to offer a wide- variety of clubs and organizations to engage our diverse student population.

Student Activities are divided into two groupings to help distinguish the level of participation and commitment students are expected to uphold.

Student Clubs: Student Clubs are generally more social in nature but still hold students accountable to attend on a regular basis and offer the opportunity not only for leadership positions but also to create a sense of belonging within the club. Student Clubs typically meet during the school day or directly before or after school.

Student Organizations: Student Organizations typically offer a competitive element or a community improvement element that requires a higher level of commitment from students and advisors. These organizations may hold meetings during the school day, as well as before and after school. The need for extra meetings are determined by the leadership of the organization.

Students have the opportunity to submit applications to start new student activities twice per school year. Applications can be found below and are due by September 30th to be considered for a spring semester start and April 30th to be considered for a fall semester start.

If you have any questions about ITHSA Student Activities, please reach out to Mr. Myers or the advisor of the individual activity.
